i had the opportunity to get my hands on a scrap of retroreflective vinyl, so i decided to get as much out of it as i could.

it was my first time trying to install a decal on such an uneven surface. i did wimp out and try to peel back at the beginning when it was looking off level, which promptly tore the vinyl because of course it did.

i think i salvaged the tear pretty well though, it's not super obvious and it came out pretty good for my first time.

i made other decals too off this scrap but i'll wait to install those for a little. for right now i'll enjoy retroreflective miku on my driver's side door before i go stressing about installing the other ones just yet.

the car sure is dirty in the photo lol. i cleaned the surface around where i was installing but it really makes the clean bit stick out like a sore thumb. gotta clean the rest soon too i guess 😞
